Marianelys Tejeda is a Dominican-American illustrator and graphic designer based in Boston, MA. Growing up in Roxbury and in a Dominican household has inspired her love for art. Being raised in an immigrant household made her value her art and voice more because she was not only pursuing her dream for herself but for her family that has always supported her in any way they could. Growing up she never had the shiny expensive things other people were blessed with but that did not stop her from making art.

 She earned her BFA in Illustration from Lesley University making her a first-generation college student of her family. She also earned her high school diploma from the Boston Arts Academy as a Visual Arts major. She is skilled in traditional and digital artwork and specializes in portraiture. Her artwork can be described as vibrant, colorful, surreal, simplistic & detailed.
